Family Camp: Choose one of the 3 options:

1) Session 1: June 30 – July 6, 2019
2) Session 2: June 30 – July 3, 2019
3) Session 3: July 3-6, 2019

Speaker: Marc Harrington, Assistant Pastor for Teaching, Discipleship & Congregational Care at Midway PCA Church

Band: The Narrow, from Olivet Nazarene University

Who: All ages. Anybody under  the age of 18 must accompanied by a parent/guardian/adult.

What: Camp Awana is now a place for the whole family to create life-changing and lasting memories. Join us for creative daily Bible teaching, praise and worship music with a live band, great food, family activities and the following:

*sand volleyball      *fishing
*flicker ball                *ga-ga ball

*Full sized high school regulation gym (basketball, volleyball, floor hockey)

*Wonderful Lakefront for swimming, water slide, 40 foot inflatable Blob, Water Trampoline, diving board, canoes, kayaks, paddle boats, row boats, pontoon boat, aqua cycle and great fishing.

Typical Day
7:15am – Wake Up
7:50am – Flag Raising
8:00am – Breakfast
9:00am – Worship in Long House
9:30am – Break Into Bible Hour (VBS) Age Groups
10:30am – Activities for Kids/Adult Free Time
11:30am – Parent Pick Up
12:00pm – Lunch
12:45pm – Family Time in Cabins/Free Time
1:45pm – Free Time Around Camp (Lake Open, Crafts, Snack Shop, Archery, Tournaments, etc.)
5:20pm – Flag Lowering
5:30pm – Dinner
7:00pm – Family Activity or Worship
8:30pm – Snack
9:00pm – Free Time or Activity
11:00pm – Lights Out


If you are coming on June 30 for Sessions 1 or 2, please arrive between 3:00-4:30 p.m. Follow the sign to the Mess Hall/Main Parking Lot and come into the Mess Hall to check in.

If you are coming on July 3 for Session 3, please arrive between 2:00-3:30 p.m. p.m. Follow the sign to the Mess Hall/Main Parking Lot and come into the Mess Hall to check in. Please contact us if you would like to come for lunch and enjoy free time. Your cabin will for sure be ready by 2:00 p.m., but it may be ready earlier.


Departure for Session 2 will be on July 3 at 1:00 p.m.

Departure for Sessions 1 & 3 will be on July 6 at 9:00 a.m.

Why: To give a chance for families to spend a week at Camp Awana together, have fun and be encouraged to grow closer to the Lord and each other.

Lodging Costs:

  • $180/cabin for Session 1
  • $90/cabin for Sessions 2 or 3.
  • Families can share a cabin with other families.

Program/Meals Costs:

  • Ages 13-Adult = $200 per person for Session 1. $100 per person for Sessions 2 or 3.
  • Ages 10-12 = $180 per person for Session 1. $90 per person for Sessions 2 or 3.
  • Ages 4-9 = $160 per person for Session 1. $80 per person for Session 2 or 3.
  • Ages 0-3 = Free

RSVP: Please RSVP by registering and paying in full or by paying a $100 non-refundable deposit. The remaining balance is due upon arrival at Camp Awana.

What To Bring: Pillow, sheets and sleeping bag or blanket, summer clothes, pants and sweatshirts, swimsuit (one piece for girls and women or dark shirt over suit and baggy style for boys/men) toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, towels, deodorant, Bible, pen, notebook, flashlight, shoes for the gym, and spending money for the Canteen.

What Not To Bring: Including, but not limited to: pets, weapons, cigarettes, drugs, alcohol, fireworks, and anything questionable. Please use good judgment.
